OFFICE OF POSTDOCTORAL AFFAIRS
Postdoctoral researchers in the USA often contribute to groundbreaking discoveries, with some even being involved in Nobel Prize-winning work.
Are you ready to make an impact?
The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs’ mission is to support and advocate on behalf of all postdocs at Georgia State University (GSU). The OPA is housed under the Graduate School. The OPA offers a variety of resources and opportunities for efficient onboarding, professional development (PD), and general support for a productive, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all.
The Postdoc Association (PDA), with support from the OPA and the Office of Vice President for Research and Economic Development, mount an annual postdoctoral symposium typically held on the last day of National Postdoc Appreciation Week, which falls on the third week in September. Postdocs from across campus have the opportunity to present their scholarship and win awards.
